2. Description of Service

Gut Fix is an AI-powered gut health application that provides personalized dietary and supplement protocols, symptom tracking, progress analytics, and AI-assisted troubleshooting. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate recommendations based on user-provided health data.

3. Medical Disclaimer

• Do not disregard professional medical advice because of information provided by Gut Fix
• Do not use Gut Fix for emergency medical situations — call 911
• Consult your doctor before starting any new supplement or dietary protocol
• Do not discontinue prescribed medication based on Gut Fix recommendations
• Verify all supplement dosages with a pharmacist or healthcare provider before use

4. AI-Generated Content

Gut Fix uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to generate protocols, insights, and responses. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or be incomplete
• AI recommendations are suggestions only and should be verified with qualified health professionals before implementation
• Supplement dosages and timing recommendations generated by AI should be confirmed with a pharmacist or healthcare provider
• Gut Fix makes no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated recommendations
• Individual results vary — testimonials and success stories do not guarantee similar outcomes

5. Genetic Data Terms

By uploading DNA data, you consent to automated analysis of specific health-relevant SNPs. You acknowledge that:

• DNA analysis results are not diagnostic — they indicate predispositions, not certainties
• Genetic predispositions do not guarantee health outcomes
• You should consult a genetic counselor or healthcare provider to interpret results
• Raw genetic data is processed server-side and is not permanently stored
• You may request permanent deletion of your DNA analysis at any time

6. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete health information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

7. Subscription and Payments

Gut Fix offers free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase
• Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we never store your payment card details

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, content, and technology, is owned by Gut Fix and protected by intellectual property laws. Your personalized protocols and health data remain your property. You grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

9. Prohibited Conduct

• Misusing the Service or using it for unauthorized purposes
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or extract AI models or algorithms
• Sharing account credentials with others
• Submitting false or misleading health information
• Using the Service to harm others or provide medical advice to third parties

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gut Fix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of health, data, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Gut Fix provides dietary and lifestyle suggestions only. We are not responsible for adverse health outcomes resulting from following AI-generated protocol recommendations. You assume full responsibility for verifying recommendations with a qualified healthcare provider.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though you may request a copy of your data before deletion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
