You can permanently delete your GutFix account and all the personal and health data associated with it at any time. Your account is deactivated immediately and irreversibly; the underlying data is fully purged from our systems within 30 days.
Delete from the app (iOS or Android)
- Open the GutFix app and sign in.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm. You're signed out immediately and the account can't be recovered; the underlying data is fully purged from our systems within 30 days.
Delete from the web
- Sign in at gutfix.ai.
- Open Settings.
- Choose Delete Account and confirm.
Prefer to email us?
Email hello@gutfix.ai from the address on your account with the subject "Account deletion request." We action verified requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
We permanently delete your profile, sign-in credentials, gut-health logs and check-ins, chat history, plans, and the usage data linked to your account.
We may retain a minimal record of transactions where we are legally required to (for example, tax and accounting records), and anonymized, non-identifying analytics that can no longer be tied to you. See our Privacy Policy for full retention details.
Cancelling your subscription
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in App Store → Subscriptions (iOS) or Google Play → Subscriptions (Android) first. Web subscriptions are cancelled from your account settings.
